Testimonials from Students & Parents
"It is a relief to finally have a test preparation company take a positive and uplifting view towards the SAT. PEN goes against the trend in "test-bashing," and as parents who care about the academic integrity of a program, we appreciate that." J. Lee, Princeton, NJ.
"I thought that SAGE was a very helpful course. Although I had to wake up before twelve, this course has definitely improved my English skills for the PSAT/SAT tests. If I were to recommend any course for PSAT/SAT, it would be this one." Jon W., West Windsor, NJ
"I enjoyed the class tremendously! I learned a lot from the grammar section, especially with improving sentence errors. I loved how you utilize real ETS and College Board material. None of my friends in other courses are doing that. I loved the narrative writing project! Your feedback was great! Thanks!" Liz Q, West Windsor, NJ
"Just wanted to let you know that I heard from Cornell finally. And...I got in! I am very excited, and I once again wanted to thank you for all your help with my SATs and SAT IIs, I could not have done it without you!" Hillary W., Newtown, PA
"Thanks for the coaching, I don't think I would've survived the Verbal or Writing Skills portions without your techniques, those were really tangibly effective. Anyway, I got a 225 on the test, with an 80 in math, 75 in writing, and 70 in verbal. As I said before, I'm pretty sure that your techniques; saved me a bunch on the critical reading, although I may have done better if I had done what you told me and decided to skip some more problems than I did. As for the writing, almost everything I knew I learned from those lists you gave us, so that was a great help. Thanks. Anyway, I think that qualifies me for a National Merit Semifinalist berth. Well, anyway, that's it, and thanks again." Le C., West Windsor, NJ
"Hi Mrs. K!!Wow, its definitely been a while! I applied to Washington University in St. Louis early and guess what?! I GOT IN!! It was REALLY exciting!!!!! I retook my SAT in June 04 and got a 670V /700M. I then took my last SAT test in October 04, Math IIC and got an 800. I hope you continue your super SAT tutoring!" James, W., West Windsor, NJ
"GOOD NEWS: I'M GOING TO MUHLENBERG!!! WOOHOO! It all paid off--and I owe you a cake! The person I interviewed with called me last Wednesday right after they made their decision to tell me the good news. I'm so happy! Thank you for everything, I could not have done it without my wonderful tutor! How is everything there? Talk to you soon!" Lori K., Plainsboro, NJ
"Hi Mrs. K. It's me, Christine. Just letting you know that the SAT was actually not as bad as I thought. I think I did alright for the verbal. The first verbal section was the hardest for me because it had a two passage critical reading. I probably should have left more questions blank but other than that I believe I did my best. Thank you so much for working with me. It really helped me feel comfortable with the test. I wasn't nervous at all when I was taking it. Other than the 1st section for verbal, my timing was pretty good too." Thanks again, Christine S., West Windsor, NJ
"I scored an 800 verbal, 770 math on the November SAT, and a 230 (73 verbal, 80 math, 77 writing) on the PSAT. Thanks -- the class evidently was very helpful. Remind me to follow up on my PSAT scores when I take it again to qualify for the scholarship. (If you're holding any last-minute reviews for that please let me know, I want to do well in the final round!)" Brett F., West Windsor, NJ
"Hi Mrs. K. I received my score and thanks to your excellent classes I saw a huge difference in comparison to last year's score. The breakdown was: 70 Verbal, 77 Math, and 68 Writing Skills for a total score of 215." Amir K, West Windsor, NJ
